STEWART HILL

Sisters, Laura and Clare Bevan-Stewart started riding at an early age and grew up competing on the provincial circuit.  They both spent their early adult years working and riding for professional trainers and learning all that they could to help them in their careers within the horse world.  Laura manages our program here at Stewart Hill and Clare assists when she is not busy with the other family business Willow Equestrian; a retail equestrian store.  With the support and help from their mother, Christine, the day to day activities run smoothly.  They bring many years of experience to the program and specialize in young horses and giving them an educational start to help give them a solid foundation for the rest of their riding careers.  They have their own group of young horses that they show on the line and develop for success in the hunter and jumper rings.

We like to keep it simple.  We focus on consistent commands on the ground that translate undersaddle when it is time to ride.  We respect the horses nature, grazing, social skills, freedom to move and have a personality. And at the end of the day, performance is the most important.
